Blactrium (“Blactrium”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data when you use the Blactrium mobile application and related services (the “App”).

Blactrium operates as a UK-based platform and processes data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Blactrium is the data controller for personal data collected through the App, except where business sellers independently process customer data (see Section 10).

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account or operate a storefront, we may collect:

  • Profile photo

  • Business name and description

  • Business address and contact details

  • VAT number (if applicable)

  • Bank or payout details (via payment processor)

  • Customer service contact details

  • Identity verification information (if required)

2.2 Transaction Information (Marketplace Feature)

When purchases are made through the App, we collect:

  • Order details

  • Product or service purchased

  • Transaction amount

  • Date and time

  • Buyer and seller identifiers

  • Shipping address (if applicable)

  • Refund and dispute history

Blactrium does not store full card details. Payments are processed by third-party providers.

2.3 Payment Information

Payments are handled by secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe or equivalent).

We may receive:

  • Transaction confirmations

  • Payout status

  • Limited payment metadata

We do not store complete card numbers.

2.4 User-Generated Content

We collect:

  • Reviews

  • Ratings

  • Photos

  • Comments

  • Messages sent via the App

  • Business listings

2.5 Automatically Collected Data

When you use the App, we may collect:

  • Device type

  • Operating system

  • IP address

  • Log data

  • App usage analytics

  • Approximate location (if enabled)

3. Lawful Bases for Processing (UK GDPR)

We process personal data under the following lawful bases:

  • Contractual necessity – to provide the App and marketplace services

We do not sell personal data.

5. How We Share Information

5.1 With Other Users

Public information includes:

  • Profile photo

  • Reviews

  • Business details

  • Storefront listings

Buyers and sellers will see necessary order details to complete transactions.

5.2 With Service Providers

We share data with trusted providers including:

  • Cloud hosting services

  • Payment processors

  • Analytics providers

  • Identity verification providers

  • Fraud prevention services

  • Email communication services

All processors operate under contractual data protection agreements.

5.3 With Sellers (Marketplace Context)

When a purchase is made, the Seller receives:

  • Buyer name

  • Shipping address (if required)

  • Order details

  • Contact email (if required for fulfilment)

Sellers are independent data controllers for customer data they receive and must comply with UK GDPR.

Blactrium is not responsible for a Seller’s independent data practices.

5.4 Legal Disclosure

We may disclose personal data if required:

  • By court order

  • To law enforcement

  • To comply with regulatory obligations

  • To protect user safety or platform integrity

5.5 Business Transfers

If Blactrium is acquired, merged, or sells assets, personal data may transfer to the new entity under the same privacy protections.

Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards, including:

  • UK-approved Standard Contractual Clauses

  • Adequacy regulations

However, no digital system is completely secure.

10. Marketplace Role Clarification

Blactrium is:

  • A data controller for platform-level data

  • Not responsible for Seller-controlled data once shared for order fulfilment

Sellers act as independent data controllers for:

  • Customer communications

  • Shipping processes

  • Refund processing

  • After-sales services

Customers should contact Sellers directly regarding how they process data.

11. Children’s Data

Blactrium is not intended for individuals under 16.

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data. If discovered, it will be deleted.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Material changes will be notified via:

  • In-app notice

  • Email

  • Updated “Last Updated” date

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
